The complaint, filed by Manish Mudgil, alleges that Anita Sharma, a resident of Dabra, illegally claimed the position of priest and subsequently encroached upon temple land, identified as survey numbers 32, 36, 827, 873, and 139, totaling 3.
6 hectares.
Mudgil claims Sharma, despite not fulfilling the eligibility criteria for being a priest and residing permanently in Dabra, obtained this position through the Deputy Tehsildar of Bhander.
This appointment was later canceled on December 9, 2024, by the Additional Commissioner of the Gwalior division due to irregularities.
Mudgil further accuses Sharma of collecting money from villagers to seize the temple land, preventing religious practices from taking place at the temple, and misappropriating government funds meant for the temple while residing in Dabra.
The complaint also mentions a report from the Mauja Patwari regarding the encroachment.
