Get ready, Balaghat residents! The Madhya Pradesh electricity department is undertaking essential transformer replacement work impacting several key areas.

The power cut will affect two feeders: the Railway Station feeder and the Motinagar feeder.

The Railway Station feeder, connected to the 33/11 KV substation in Motinagar, will experience a blackout from 8 AM to 9 AM.

The Motinagar feeder will be without power from 9 AM to 11 AM.

The electricity department has indicated that these timings are subject to change depending on the progress of the work.

This planned power cut is a part of the department's preparations for the upcoming monsoon season in Madhya Pradesh, ensuring a stable power supply during the heavy rains.

The Balaghat power cut will affect several key areas and residents.

Areas experiencing the power cut include the Hero Service Center, Shiv Mandir, Durga Mandir, Narmada Nagar, and HP Gas Agency.

Businesses like the ice factory, and residential areas such as Sharda Nagar, Parmar Udyog, Saraswati Nagar, and Vivekananda Colony will also be affected.

Educational institutions like Radhakrishna School will also be without power.

Hospitals including Ganpati Hospital and Arogya Hospital are also on the list.

Several other businesses like Babbu Tyres, Kesar Plaza, and petrol pumps along Gondia Road will also face disruption in power supply.

This planned maintenance, although disruptive, is crucial for ensuring a reliable power supply throughout Balaghat, particularly during the upcoming monsoon season.

The electricity department is committed to minimizing disruption as much as possible, but residents are advised to make the necessary preparations.
