So far, 101 projects worth a staggering 9186 crore have been approved for the Simhastha Kumbh Mela in Ujjain.

These projects include crucial infrastructure developments like ghat construction, Shipra river water storage, and purification systems.

While the Water Resources Department has already started all 5 of its projects (2533 crore), other departments show varying degrees of progress.

The Energy Department has initiated 3 out of 6 projects, with the remaining in the tendering process.

Similarly, the Public Works Department (PWD) has started 3 out of 6 projects; the rest are awaiting approval.

The progress on other projects is as follows: Culture Department (2/5 started), Urban Administration Department (1/7 started), and Tourism Department (2/10 in tendering, 8 awaiting administrative approvals).

The Chief Minister chaired a high-level review meeting to assess the progress of these vital projects for the Kumbh Mela, highlighting the need for timely completion.
