Shivpuri railway station near-miss averted! Kolars Road safety.
HeadlinesNow reports a shocking incident near Shivpuri's Kolars Road railway station on Friday evening. Eight to ten young men, in a reckless attempt to create a viral reel, jumped in front of an approaching Bina-Gwalior passenger train (51883) around 5:51 PM. Local pride was tested as quick thinking and alertness prevented a major accident. Thankfully, the train was already slowing down to stop at the station, averting a potential catastrophe. The train pilot and railway staff displayed commendable presence of mind, swiftly removing the youths from the tracks. This required significant effort, highlighting the dangers of such irresponsible actions. A video of the incident, captured by a fellow passenger, is now circulating widely on social media, serving as a stark reminder of the risks involved. Shivpuri shines through the quick response of its railway staff, yet this incident underscores the need for greater awareness regarding railway safety. The station master, Suresh Kumar, initially denied knowledge of the event but later confirmed, following discussions with the train pilot, that the train had been stopped before the young men could be hit. This incident serves as a wake-up call for all, particularly the youth, stressing the importance of responsible behaviour around railway tracks and emphasizing the potential for severe consequences of such reckless stunts. Kolans Road railway station, Shivpuri district, and the overall railway safety remain top priorities for locals.Explore more: Sports Updates
